BlueRun Ventures, a venture capital (VC) firm formerly known as Nokia Venture Partners and which retains the mobile phone maker as a limited partner in its funds, has doubled the number of venture partners.
Jay Jamison (pictured) joined BlueRun as a venture partner in November and will work alongside former Nokia veteran Kari-Pekka "K-P" Wilska. Jamison is the former president and co-founder of children’s education software company Moonshot, and also spent nine years in software provider Microsoft’s Windows and servers businesses.
BlueRun also promoted Andrew Thornborrow (head of legal) and Cheryl Cheng (head of marketing) to operating partner and support the six investment partners and six-strong investment team.
