China-based telephone number database DianHua.cn has raised “tens of millions of US dollars” in a series A round featuring Xiaomi Ventures, the corporate venturing arm of smartphone maker Xiaomi, China Money Network reported on Tuesday.
Venture capital firms Morningside Ventures, GGV Capital and Dragonrise Capita,l and Russian entrepreneur and venture capitalist Yuri Milner also took part.
DianHua provides a data service for telephone numbers which is used by firms including Xiaomi and internet company Tencent Holdings.
The company previously raised an undisclosed amount in seed funding from telecommunications firm Net263 in 2012.
