US-based recruitment software developer Gr8 People received $8m on Tuesday in a series B round backed by Randstad Innovation Fund, a corporate venturing subsidiary of human resources firm Randstad.
The round, which increased Gr8 People’s total funding to $14m according to the company, was led by venture capital firm Ascent Venture Partners and included investment bank Delancey Street Partners.
Gr8 People has created a cloud-based product called One-Experience Talent Platform that enables recruiters to build and manage their talent hiring campaigns using features such as automated marketing tools.
The funding will help the company expand One-Experience Talent Platform as it looks to meet demand for the software.
Gr8 People raised $2m in 2015 according to a securities filing, and named Randstad Innovation Fund and Delancey Street’s merchant bank, Delancey Street Capital Partners, as participants in a growth equity round of undisclosed size the same year.
The deal is the second in which Randstad Innovation Fund has invested this week, the unit having also contributed to a $30m series C round for software coder assessment platform HackerRank.
