Erik Tveteraas (pitcured) has left his director of venturing role at NuFrontiers, the corporate venture capital arm of Dutch animal feed and meat product manufacturer Nutreco.

Norwegian Mycelium, the fungal protein producer also known as NoMy, hired Tveteraas as chief financial officer, where he will help accelerate the company’s growth and devise strategies to secure funding.

Tveteraas joined NuFrontiers in 2019 as investment director, two years after NuFrontiers was launched. He targeted companies working on sustainable food production, aquaculture, novel raw materials, livestock nutrition, precision farming and animal health.

In 2023, NuFrontiers promoted Tveteraas to lead the CVC subsidiary. The unit makes about three investments per year. Laxey, an Icelandic provider of fish farming facilities, and ViAqua Therapeutics, an Israeli aquaculture treatment developer, are among its portfolio companies.
