UMU interacts with TAL Education in series B

UMU Technology, an interactive learning technology producer that counts education provider TAL Education among its investors, has secured RMB100m ($14.3m) in series B financing, DealStreetAsia has reported.

The capital was provided by private equity firm Gaocheng Capital and came after ‘millions of dollars’ in series A funding from TAL Education and Xiamen Venture Capital in 2019 according to China SDG. Angel investor Wang Gang supplied its earlier financing.

Founded in 2015, UMU provides interactive learning technology intended to help enterprise customers train employees online through the use of artificial intelligence.

The company’s platform supports customers in sectors including education, medicine, finance, manufacturing and retail.
