Cephalon, a Nasdaq-listed drugs company, has agreed to buy Gemin X Pharmaceuticals, a biopharmaceutical company for cancer therapeutics, for $225m.

Tata Capital raising fund
Tata Capital’s Growth Fund has raised $200m, primarily from third parties, although Tata has contributed about $40m, according to news provider Mint.
Intel eats into Turkey’s Nokta
Marcin Hejka, Intel Capital’s head of Middle and Eastern Europe, Russia, Middle East and Africa regions, said it would provide Nokta with financial support and help with sales and technology.

RR Donnelley finds its Journalism Online
News Corp invested an undisclosed amount for a minority stake in Journalism Online in June last year and Jon Housman, president of digital journalism initiatives for the company, told news provider paidContent the company’s investment “appreciated considerably” with the exit to RR Donnelley.
