HTGF III celebrates $275m first close

German public-private partnership High-Tech Gründerfonds (HTGF) achieved the first close of its third fund at €245m ($275m) on Tuesday with the support of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy. Lilly helps InventisBio make up $19m series B

China-based biotechnology developer InventisBio secured $19m in a series B round yesterday that featured Lilly Asia Ventures, the regional corporate venturing fund of pharmaceutical firm Eli Lilly. The round was led by OrbiMed Asia, the management arm of three Asia-focused fund for investment firm OrbiMed Advisors.
