Glaxo spin-out hears call of £10m

UK-based healthcare company GlaxoSmithKline has kept backing one of its spin-outs, Autifony Therapeutics, which is researching treatments for hearing problems, retaining a stake after it raised a £10m ($16.5m) funding round. Landon takes majority of Sercotel

Landon Investments, the corporate venturing unit of Spain-based Grupo Corporativo Landon, has reportedly invested €3.5m ($5m) in local hotel chain Sercotel to take its stake to a majority position.
