2012 Powerlist: Martin Grieve, Unilever

Martin Grieve became head of Unilever Corporate Ventures, the Anglo-Dutch consumer goods company’s corporate venturing unit, in 2009.

Grieve led the corporate venturing’s expansion into Asia in 2011, winning his board’s approval to expand into emerging markets, going into India, with plans to expand into China.

Before joining Unilever in 1996, Grieve spent 10 years at accountant Cooper & Lybrands, which become part of PricewaterhouseCoopers. He studied at Bristol University.
