Russ Conser, a veteran of Anglo-Dutch oil major Shell, has spent 14 years working in corporate venturing at the company.
In 2010 he took over management of the company’s combined GameChanger corporate venturing programme helping develop ideas into technologies and companies of relevance to Shell.
Between 2006 and 2010 he headed the exploration and production business of GameChanger, while he began venturing at both GameChanger and Shell Internet Ventures in 1998. Other corporate roles he has taken at Shell include working in finance consulting and as a petrophysical engineer. He graduated in mechanical engineering from Iowa State University in 1983.
