KeepTruckin hauls in $8m

US-based KeepTruckin, which provides logbook technology for  truck drivers, secured $8m in series A capital yesterday from investors including Google Ventures, the corporate venturing arm of conglomerate Alphabet. BDMI alumni go to Join Capital

Jan Borgstädt, formerly a vice president of corporate venturing unit Bertelsmann Digital Media Investments (BDMI), has co-founded a venture capital firm called Join Capital with another BDMI alumnus, Tobias Schirmer.
