Marketing software provider 6Sense acquired account-based US-based marketing orchestration platform developer ZenIQ for an undisclosed sum on Wednesday, providing an exit to enterprise software producer Salesforce.
Founded in 2015, ZenIQ develops marketing and sales management software that helps businesses maximise engagement with individual sales leads and customers.
The sotware pulls contact details from internal and external sources, provides relevant marketing and sales data, and can integrate with social networking platforms such as LinkedIn.
6Sense will give its customers access to ZenIQ’s features over coming months, and the acquisition will expedite development of additional features for 6Sense’s offering.
Salesforce’s corporate venturing arm, Salesforce Ventures, co-led a $4.6m round for ZenIQ in June 2017 with venture capital firm Costanoa Ventures. ZenIQ has not disclosed any additional funding.
Jason Zintak, 6Sense’s president and chief executive, said: “Business-to-business enterprises are looking to either implement or scale up their account-based marketing practices for growth in 2018.
“Using integrated workflows for targeted sales and marketing plays, combined with predictive data insights and intelligent targeting, the combination of ZenIQ with 6sense equips modern marketers with a platform that delivers up to five times lift in lead conversions and pipeline acceleration.”
