UK-based e-commerce logistics software developer James and James Fulfilment has secured £11m ($15.5m) from LDC, the middle-market investment arm of financial services firm Lloyds Banking Group.
Founded in 2010, James and James has developed a cloud-based platform enabling e-commerce brands to arrange the storage, packaging and shipping of customer goods.
The platform harmonises distribution across multiple operating markets and incorporates support for live order tracking and customer returns.
James and James will invest the funding in product development and add LDC investment director Chris Baker and investment manager James Garland to its board of directors.
In addition to its UK headquarters, James and James has offices in the US and New Zealand, employing more than 100 people overall. It claims annual turnover has grown by 50% on average over the past three years to reach $21.5m.
