Sunyur Network sources series A funding

China-based digital procurement services provider Sunyur Network has secured RMB100m ($14.1m) in series A financing from investors including IT consulting firm SiE Consulting, DealStreetAsia reported yesterday, citing a company statement.

Venture capital firm Sequoia Capital China led the round, which was also backed by Vision Plus Capital, Yinxinggu Capital, FreesFund, Huiyou Investment and YI Capital.

Founded in 2018, Sunyur offers procurement services for enterprise customers looking to enhance their digital capabilities. It will use the cash to strengthen its software products and fuel research and development.

The startup has now raised a total of more than $28m across three rounds according to DealStreetAsia, which named SiE, Vision Plus, Yinxinggu Capital, FreesFund, Huiyou Investment and YI Capital as existing investors.

The earlier funding consisted of approximately $6m of seed capital received in January 2019 and about $8m in a series A round led by Vision Plus in August.
