Jules Miller has left computing technology group IBM’s blockchain accelerator to become a partner at Israel-based venture capital firm Mindset Ventures.
Mindset has hired Miller as US lead and she will be investing in seed-to-series B enterprise tech startups. She had co-founded IBM Blockchain Ventures, launched and ran two IBM Blockchain Accelerators with Columbia University and was head of the IBM Blockchain Garage for North America.
Prior to IBM, Miller was a partner at LunaCap Ventures, a venture debt fund investing in diverse founders, and was chief operating officer of of gender lens investing pioneer Brava Investments.
As an entrepreneur Miller had co-founded and led two legal tech companies. Evolve Law, a digital media and events company for legal innovators acquired by Breaking Media/Above the Law, and Hire an Esquire, a venture-backed tech startup providing attorneys on-demand to law firms and in-house legal teams.
Miller also founded environmental sustainability consulting firm Carbonado Group and spent seven years as an ‘intraprenuer’ helping companies including EY, Salesforce and Tiffany to launch and grow new business units around environmental and social responsibility.
