Enterprise software provider Workday exited US-based data privacy platform developer Integris Software yesterday in a purchase of undisclosed size by data and privacy management services provider OneTrust.
Integris has built a software platform that provides deep analysis of sensitive data even if it has not been classified as such by existing privacy regulations. It has already been integrated into OneTrust’s corporate data management software product, OneTrust DataDiscovery.
The deal follows $22m in funding for Integris including a $10m series A round in mid-2018 led by venture capital firm Aspect Ventures and backed by Workday’s investment arm, Workday Ventures, as well as existing backers Madrona Venture Group and Amplify Partners.
The same four investors subsequently added a further $3m in funding for the company in October the same year. Its earlier backers also include Ignition Partners.
