China-based smart consumer technology provider Dreame Technology has received almost RMB100m ($14.6m) in a series B-round that included consumer electronics manufacturer Xiaomi, it revealed yesterday.
Venture capital group IDG Capital led the round, which also featured Edge Ventures, Peak Valley Capital and Shunwei Capital. It took place on September 1 and Yunmu Capital was financial adviser, the company said.
Dreame produces intelligent household appliances such as robotic vacuum cleaners and mops, and intends to launch its next product, a handheld cordless vacuum cleaner, in November this year.
The company was founded in 2015 and has not disclosed details of earlier financing. It joined Xiaomi’s Technology Ecosystem in 2017.
