US-based software management technology provider Replicated received $25m in series B funding yesterday from investors including Plexo Capital, the female-focused fund spun off by internet technology group Alphabet.
Venture capital firm Two Sigma Ventures led the round, which also featured Amplify Partners, BoldStart, Heavybit, Mucker Capital, Ridgeline Partners and Preston-Werner Ventures.
Replicated has developed a platform that enables vendors to package and distribute software products to a wider range of customers by offering a range of tools covering areas like installation, configuration and troubleshooting while allowing them to oversee all their deployed software.
The company raised $1.5m in a 2015 seed round led by BoldStart that included Founder Collective, Mucker Capital, TenOneTen Ventures, WonderVC, WTI and angel investors including founder Tom Preston-Werner, co-founder of Preston-Werner Ventures, David Lee and Tom McInerney.
Amplify Partners and Webb Investment Network co-led a $5m series A round for Replicated the following year that included BoldStart Ventures, Founder Collective, TenOneTen Ventures and Mucker Capital.
