The accelerator formed by Norway-based oil and gas provider Equinor, energy services provider Kongsberg, consulting firm Capgemini and accelerator operator Techstars has chosen 10 startups for its latest cohort.
The latest iteration of Equinor and Techstars Energy Accelerator will start on February 15, with a demonstration day scheduled for May 11.
Gareth Burns, Equinor’s vice-president and head of Equinor Ventures, said: “Following the success of our previous accelerator programmes, we are excited to have a new class of innovative startups to unlock opportunities within oil and gas, renewables and low-carbon solutions.”
Christian Møller, Kongsberg Digital’s chief technology officer, added: “If industry players, from large to small, cooperate and nourish each other’s experience and technology, it will be substantially easier to solve the challenges faced by the energy industry.
“Through Techstars we can share our knowledge and experience alongside ambitious entrepreneurs. Entrepreneurs who have identified new opportunities and use their unique skill set to tackle major challenges.”
The participants are Cnergreen, Dimeq, Ecolectro, F3nice, FalconX, Geolumina, Hyperion Global Energy, Ocean Access, RZX Tecnologiaa and Vortex Bladeless.
