SevenVentures, the corporate venturing unit of Germany-based private equity-owned media company ProSiebenSat.1, has participated in a series B round for online moodboard Stylight. Financial information was not disclosed.
The new funds will be used to build and launch a iOS app.
Stylight has previously secured seed funding from venture capital firm Holtzbrinck Ventures, and an A round in 2010 from Holtzbrinck and Tengelmann Ventures, both corporate venturing units.
ProSiebenSat.1’s SevenVentures corporate venturing unit offers cash and/or access to its media stable.
ProsiebenSat.1’s owners, KKR and Permira, have retained investment bank JP Morgan to see if they can sell their controlling stake, according to news provider Financial Times.
