Indoo.rs, an Austria-based indoor location and navigation technology has raised a “six-figure” seed round from a local consortium including “strategic investor” TechInvest.
TechInvest is a local technology financing company owned by Hannes Bardach, chief executive of Frequentis. TechInvest invests in companies from the Frequentis start-up centre when technology is relevatn to Frequentis.
Tecnet Equity, a technology financing company of the province of Lower Austria, and SpeedInvest, a local angel network, completed the seed round.
Bernd Gruber, co-founder and chief executive of Indoo.rs, said: “This investment round combines the financial strength of the tecnet fund, the active involvement of SpeedInvest and strategic opportunities offered by TechInvest to support the expansion of Indoo.rs’ technology lead.”
