Internet group Tencent has led a $15m series A round for China-based cybersecurity technology developer XMirror that included venture capital firm Sequoia Capital China, DealStreetAsia reported yesterday.
XMirror provides cybersecurity software focused on DevSecOps, a system where responsibility for security is shared by each member of a software application development team from the start of the process, instead of by a dedicated team at the end.
Sequoia China’s seed fund had previously led a pre-series A round for the company in June 2020 that was in the eight-figure yuan range (RMB10m = $1.4m).
