Josiane Ishimwe, an analyst at Intel Capital, the corporate venturing unit of US-listed chip and data company Intel, has been promoted to investment manager.
Ishimwe originally worked as an intern at Intel Capital in its 2017 programme as part of a diversity initiative for the next generation of venture capitalists (VCs).
At the time she was majoring in chemical engineering at Howard University with a minor in computer science. She then joined Intel the following year as an analyst.
