Venture Capital firm Bessemer Venture Partners has led a $12m round of series B financing into Vasona Networks, a provider of platforms for mobile network capacity and resource management. There was also involvement from New Venture Partners and Vodafone Ventures, the corporate venturing division of UK-listed mobile phone operator Vodafone, according to gigaom.com.
The new funds will be used to increased operations and trial globally.
This brings the total raised by Vasona to $22m. The company raised $10m in a series A round in 2011.
