Accountancy firm Deloitte has joined corporate venturing service providers group Corporate Venture and Innovation Initiative (CVI2).
Consultants Bell Mason Group and law firm DLA Piper, which founded CVI2, said Deloitte’s service offerings to corporate venturing units would be in tax, audit, mergers and acquisitions, post-merger integration and innovation development and execution.
Jim Atwell, national managing partner at Deloitte & Touche’s emerging growth company practice, said: “Venturing and innovation are crucial drivers of change and growth within global corporations.”
Geoff Tuff, principal of Deloitte Consulting and leader of Doblin, part of Monitor Deloitte, added: “Our inclusion in this initiative will further enable our corporate clients to drive real innovation within their organizations.”
CVI2 qualified advisory services providers, which also includes Global Corporate Venturing and Silicon Valley Bank, on a non-exclusive basis offer a range of advisory services for corporations that are seeking to develop and implement venturing and innovation strategies to drive growth.
