Netprice Limited, the corporate venturing unit of Japan e-commerce and incubator Netprice.com, whose main stockholders include Cyber Agent, Truhide Sato and Dentsu Digital Holdings, has invested an undisclosed amount of capital in Turkey’s largest price comparison site, Akakce.com.
Netprice.com has reportedly invested for a 20 per cent stake in the business, according to news site turk.internet.com. The deal will form a strategic partnership giving both countries greater access to relative consumer and product bases.
Akakce.com was founded in 2000 to provide Turkey-based consumers with prices and user opinions about a variety of products ranging from home appliances, health care products, and gaming products.
