US-based workflow management software provider Pipefy closed a $75m series C round led by $50m from internet and telecommunications group SoftBank’s Latin American Fund on Tuesday.
SoftBank was joined by Steadfast Capital Management, Insight Partners, Redpoint E.ventures and unnamed others, and the round brought the company’s total funding to approximately $139m.
Founded in 2015, Pipefy provides a no and low-code software platform enabling businesses to centralise data and track work progress among their teams to increase visibility and productivity.
The company claims 4,000 customers across 215 countries and the proceeds from the round will be used to speed up its global expansion. Insight Partners had previously led its $45m series B round in July 2019, investing alongside Trinity Ventures and OpenView Venture Partners.
Trinity Ventures and OpenView had co-led a $16m series A round for the company in 2018 that also featured Valor Capital Group and Redpoint E.ventures. It had raised $2.5m in seed funding from unnamed investors in 2016 following $200,000 the previous year, according to regulatory filings.
