FireEye, a US-based provider of cyber attack protection, which has been supported with strategic investments from backers including Juniper Networks, Goldman Sachs and Norwest Venture Partners, floated on Nasdaq on 20 September.
FireEye’s stock flotation price was raised to $20 per share in a revised initial public offering document, having originally filed a price range of $12 – $14 per share.
The initial offering, in which 15,175,000 shares were sold, raised $303.5m, or $282.3m after underwriting discounts and expenses of $21.2m.
FireEye’s share price opened at $40.3 on its first day of trading, 20 September, reaching a high of $44.89 and closing at $36 per share.
