Google Ventures, the venture capital investment arm of US-based internet search firm Google, has hired Shanna Tellerman and Dave Munichiello as investment partners.
Previously, Tellerman was the founder of Sim Ops Studios (Wild Pockets), a spin-off from Carnegie Mellon University that focused on democratizing 3D game development, and which was acquired by Autodesk in 2010. She holds a BFA and master’s degree in entertainment technology from Carnegie Mellon University.
Munichiello joins from Kiva Systems, an eCommerce-enabling robotics company sold to Amazon for $775m. Prior to Kiva, Munichiello worked at The Boston Consulting Group and as a Captain in the US military. He holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BS from Emory University in math and computer science.
