Investment fund Bertha Capital and Brazil’s Amazonas state industries federation Fieam have launched a BR100m ($21m) strategic investment fund targeting industry 4.0 startups.
The reported corporate venture capital fund plans to invest between BR500,000 and BR5m in about 15 startups targeting the bioeconomy, financial technology and travel related to Amazonas’ economy, Fieam said.
The first allocation is going to Fieam’s own startup venture builder to invest and accelerate around 50 new businesses in the next four years.
