Heyday celebrates first day

Heyday, a US-based startup which publishers a free, automatic journal-keeping app for iPhones and iPods, has officially launched. According to a report on peHUB, the startup raised $2m in seed funding back in July 2012, from investors including Google Ventures, the corporate venturing arm of internet firm Google, CrunchFund, the early-stage venture capital firm of internet media company AOL, venture capital firm Spark Capital, TriplePoint Capital and SV Angel, and several angel investors.

Siqi Chen, Heyday co-founder and chief executive officer, said: “We spent the last two years building and rebuilding Heyday to reimagine every step of the journaling experience: starting, writing, beautifying and reliving your memories. I trust Heyday to remember the story of my life and hope Heyday helps millions of others around the world to remember theirs in a beautiful, effortless and fun way.”

Heyday was founded in 2012.
