Yellow Accelerator, the accelerator run by US-based messaging app developer Snap, announced the eight startups making up its its fifth batch on Tuesday.
The accelerator invests $150,000 in digital content technology developers and offers networking, business support and mentoring services. The companies in the latest batch will go through a curriculum led by investors and tech founders over a period of 13 weeks.
The cohort includes digital rewards platform developer Bits of Stock, voice-based dating app creator Blink Date, augmented reality gaming studio DB Creations and Bump, a provider of revenue monitoring software for content creators.
Online beauty product retailer Ettos, digital mood board service Shoplook, mobile game developer Tiplay Studio and Well Traveled Club, the operator of a members club for travellers, filled out the participants.
Yellow Accelerator’s previous cohort debuted in February 2021 with nine startups, following a 10-strong third batch in 2020, a previous 10 the year before and the same amount in 2018, the year the accelerator was launched.
