Orange Fab Asia, a Tokyo-based accelerator programme initiated by France-based telecommunications company Orange, has announced its first batch of eight startups. Orange Fab is also available in the US, Poland and France,
The Orange Fab Asia programme lasts for three months and features mentoring sessions from industry experts from different regions including US, Asia and Europe. Participants in the programme will be invited to Paris to meet some of the organisation’s top executives.
There were initial applications from fifty startups, ranging from mobile apps to hardware, out of which fifteen were shortlisted. An additional round of screening led to the final list of eight startups, namely:
