iYogi, an India-based computer services company that has seen previous investment from SAP Ventures, the corporate venturing unit of software company SAP, has raised $28m in its series E financing round.
Axon Partners Group also invested in the round along with another investment firm, Madison India Capital.
The round brings iYogi’s total funding to date to $85.6m. Previous backers include SAP Ventures, which has been an investor since it led iYogi’s $9.5m series B round in 2008, Saama Capital, Madison India, Draper Fisher Jurvetson, Canaan Partners and Sequoia Capital.
iYogi provides a proprietary delivery platform called the Digital Service Cloud, which offers technical support services to people and businesses across a variety of platforms and devices.
The company plans to use the latest investment to help double its revenue in the next two years, and to move into the Latin American market. Recently it launched services in Spain through a partnership with Telefonica and established a service delivery centre in the country.
