Stefon Crawford has been promoted to partner at GM Ventures, the corporate venture capital arm of US-based automotive manufacturing corporation General Motors.
GM Ventures hired Crawford in 2016 as a VC analyst and he subsequently took up various roles, most recently as a principal for almost a year from March 2022.
Formed in 2010, GM Ventures invests primarily in the automotive and industrial sectors, with a focus on mobility and clean technology developers.
GM Ventures has 27 active portfolio companies including UK-based augmented reality automotive display developer Envisics.
Prior to joining GM Ventures, Crawford had spent more than five years at mortgage lender Rocket Mortgage (then known as Quicken Loans).
