China-based online beauty and cosmetics product seller Meilapp.com has raised $20m in series B funding from backers including IDG Capital, a corporate venturing subsidiary of publishing and data company IDG, China Money Network reported on Monday.
Venture capital firms Morningside Ventures, which led the round, GSR Ventures and Yunqi Capital also took part.
Meilapp is a web portal and mobile app where users can share and purchase beauty products and cosmetics. The platform currently has close to 1 million daily users. The news funds will be allocated to marketing, team expansion and brand building.
