Tobias Graf has announced that he has joined the Munich-based investment team at Hitachi Ventures, the corporate venture capital arm of Japanese electronics company.
Graf joined the Hitachi Ventures team in July 2023 with his new position left undisclosed. Prior to his move to Hitachi, he spent under a year at venture capital firm Yttrium in the growth equity department.
Graf also spent four years at the investment banking corporation Credit Suisse where he worked on mergers and acquisitions.
Founded in 2019, Hitachi Ventures invests in startups focusing on healthcare, environmental and social businesses in Europe, Israel and North America. The firm has 19 companies in its portfolio and has overseen 26 investments.
