China-based cloud-based services provider Ucpaas has raised almost RMB 100m ($16m) in a series B round led by Legend Capital, the corporate venturing subsidiary of conglomerate Legend Holdings, China Money Network reported yesterday.
Venture capital firm Chengwei Ventures also participated in the round. Ucpaas has not diclosed details concerning its series A funding.
Launched in April 2014, Ucpaas has provides a cloud-based platform to developers for voice-over-IP (VoIP) services, enabling the internet to be used for phone calls. Clients include e-commerce company Alibaba and smartphone manufacturer Xiaomi.
