Bindi Karia has left her vice president post at venture capital and finance provider Silicon Valley Bank (SVB) to “pursue new entrepreneurial opportunities,” Tech.eu reported on Wednesday.
Karia joined the UK branch of SVB in January 2013 to oversee its early-stage efforts in a newly created position as vice president of accelerator solutions.
The VP had previously spent almost eight years at software provider Microsoft, including five as its UK venture capital and emerging business lead.
Although Karia, who has picked up several awards, as well as the moniker ‘Queen of startups,’ has not disclosed precise plans post-SVB, Tech.eu reports she intends to keep working with early-stage companies, connecting them with VC investors and corporates.
