Canada-based digital content marketing provider ScribbleLive raised a C$35m ($26.3m) series D round yesterday led by OpenText Enterprise Apps Fund, backed by enterprise software company OpenText.
Rogers Venture Partners, the corporate venturing arm of diversified communications and media company Rogers, Emerillon Capital, Blue Cloud Ventures, Northleaf Venture Catalyst Fund, Summerhill Venture Partners, Georgian Partners, Export Development Corporation of Canada (EDC) and Waterloo Innovation Fund also participated in the round alongside an unnamed US-based asset manager.
Established in 2008, ScribbleLive produces content marketing and live publishing software aimed at brands. The company’s clients include drinks maker Red Bull, telecoms firm Deutsche Telekom and internet company Yahoo.
Rogers previously contributed funds to a $12m series C round in October 2014, led by Waterloo Innovation and featuring Georgian Partners, EDC and Summerhill Venture Partners.
Rogers, Georgian, EDC and Summerhill also injected $8m in series B funding in 2013. Summerhill invested $4m in series A capital in 2011.
