Vlocity, a US-based cloud software company, has raised $42.8m in a series A round led by Salesforce Ventures, the corporate investment arm of customer relationship management software company Salesforce.com.
Salesforce Ventures was joined in the round by US-based management consulting company Accenture.
Vlocity provides industry-specific functionality for Salesforce’s software through technology that promotes best practice in the sector and enables specific business processes to be followed within Salesforce’s offering.
