Jugnoo, an India-based automotive rickshaw hire service backed by mobile payment company Paytm, has added $2.5m to its series B round, according to news provider TechCrunch.
In November, Jugnoo raised $3m in a B round provided by mobile payment company Paytm.
Paytm previously also took part in a first tranche of $5m for the series A round in June 2015, led by Snow Leopard and featuring a range of angel investors. Jugnoo obtained $1m in seed funding in November 2014 from individual investors.
Launched in November 2014, Jugnoo operates an app that enables users to order an auto rickshaw to travel across a city. The company also offers a hyperlocal delivery service.
