Voyage Medical, a US-based medical technology company, has raised $20.6m through its series C round, which included Abbott Laboratories as a strategic investor.
Abbott led the financing as a new investor and was joined by venture capital firms Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, RWI Ventures, Three Arch Partners and Sapient Ventures.
Voyage raised $22m in its series B round in November 2008 and $3.4m in 2006.
