Travis Skelly has taken a senior vice-president position at Citi Ventures, the strategic investment arm of US-based financial services firm Citi.
Skelly joined Citi from FinTech Collective, the financial technology-focused venture capital fund where he spent two and a half years as director of investments, during which time he was involved in rounds for NextCapital and Reonomy among others.
Prior to Fintech Collective, Skelly worked in investment banking for financial services holding company Nomura.
Founded in 2010, Citi Ventures invests in areas including fintech, big data, cybersecurity, marketing technology, commerce and payments. Its portfolio currently includes robo-advisor developer Betterment, big data analytics company Platfora and e-signature technology provider DocuSign.
