US-based, student-focused recruitment platform Portfolium has received $6.6m in funding from backers including student loans guarantor USA Loans, TechCrunch reported on Monday.
Venture capital partnership SJF Ventures led the round, which also featured specialised investment firm University Ventures.
Founded in 2014, Portfolium runs a recruitment platform that features samples of students’ work, and it has partnered roughly 200 higher education institutions and around 60,000 employers.
University Ventures had previously taken part in a $1.2m round for Portfolium in September 2015 that included Seed San Diego and Vertical Venture Partners, while Tech Coast Angels and angel investor provided $900,000 in 2014.
