American Express Ventures, the corporate venturing unit of payment processing service American Express, has led a series C round in India-based customer support platform developer Coraza Technologies, VCCircle reported on Friday.
Sequoia Capital and East Capital also contributed to the round. Coraza is reportedly seeking to raise $10m and has secured $5m, though it was not immediately clear whether this means the company is targeting a $10m or a $15m close.
Founded in 2010, Coraza operates two products to assist customer support staff in dealing with feedback and complaints – artificial intelligence-based personal assistant Helpchat and customer experience management platform OneDirect.
Coraza, previously known as Akosha, raised $21.6m ahead of its series C round. Most recently, it obtained $16m in a series B round led by Sequoia in May 2015.
