Peter Borchers (pictured) has become CEO of Allianz X, an insurtech accelerator that forms part of the digital transformation strategy of Germany-based insurer Allianz Group.
Before joining Allianz last month, Borchers founded and headed Germany-based phone operator Deutsche Telekom‘s incubator, Hub:raum, which has offices in Berlin, Krakow and Tel Aviv.
Prior to joining Hub:raum, Borchers co-founded and managed an internal innovation accelerator for Deutsche Telekom called T-Innovations, as well as his own internet startup, Everseven, a marketplace for freelancers in the media industry.
