US-based social engagement rating service Share Rocket has raised $5m from investors including entertainment companies Fox and Tribune Broadcasting, Launch DFW reported yesterday.
Founded in 2013, Share Rocket’s platform enables brands to identify trends on social media in a given market in real-time. These trends can also be analysed over a prolonged period, from 24 hours up to 90 days.
The company is currently focused on clients in the media sector, though it plans on eventually expanding into other verticals. The cash injection will support recruitment.
Share Rocket previously secured $600,000 in seed funding, though further details have not emerged.
