VoiceBox Technologies, a US-based maker of voice recognition applications, has raised two-thirds of its planned $7.6m round.
The $5.3m extended series C shares for VoiceBox from five investors will also come with warrants to buy a further £2.1m in C-2 stock, according to its regulatory filing.
News provider CB Insights said VoiceBox had previously raised money from Taiwan-based mobile device maker Inventec, map software provider AutoNavi, equipment manufacturer Mitac, and Hong Kong-based family group Morningside.
