Jiuwei Information Technology, the China-based operator of part-time job app Part-time Cat, has secured RMB160m ($24m) in a series C round featuring men’s fashion brand Joeone, Marbridge Consulting has reported.
The round, which closed in late 2017, included private equity firm Shoutai Jinxin Equity Investment. The company had previously pulled in an eight-figure renminbi sum in a September 2017 series B round.
Part-time Cat is an online recruitment platform for part-time and short-term jobs that claims to have 850,000 registered companies covering 283 Chinese cities, in adition to some 20 million users.
The series C proceeds will fund the launch of a new platform called Luyong that is intended to focus on full-time and longer-term positions.
